Commemorative
The commemorative program offers an ideal way to honor or memorialize a loved one or commemorate a special event while supporting Gwinnett County parks and programs. For your donation of $300, a commemorative plaque will be placed on an item of your choosing that is already in place in one of the counties parks.
With a donation of $1000, you may honor a special individual with the new tree with inscribed granite marker or a six foot bench with commemorative plaque in your favorite park.
Items already in place include benches, swings, bike racks, water fountains and trash cans. Items not included are pavilions, playing fields or playgrounds. We also have items available to honor your favorite canine friend in any of the county’s dog parks!
These commemoratives are a special often comforting way to remember loved ones, coaches and volunteers with the love of the outdoors and outdoor recreation.
