in a beautification project at Shorty Howell Park! Activities will focus invasive plant species removal, trail cleanup and other park beautification projects.
Gwinnett County, one of America's historically fastest growing counties, and now one of the nation's most diverse has an award winning parks and recreation system recognized by the National Recreation and Park Association and the Georgia Recreation and Park Association. Since 2001, the Gwinnett Parks Foundation has led the way in fostering public/private partnerships and creative funding advocacy in our Youth and Senior Citizen scholarship program.
About Us
The Gwinnett Parks Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to assist the needs, whether volunteer labor, or monetary, of Gwinnett Parks & Recreation. The foundation was organized in 2001 to improve the quality of life for all of its citizens by working in cooperation with Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation, private citizens, businesses, foundations, and the Gwinnett County government.
