This fund was created by the Gwinnett Parks Foundation in 2001 to assure that all children and senior citizens have the opportunity to participate in recreational and athletic activities in Gwinnett County. Gwinnett's youth and senior citizens who cannot afford to attend summer camps, swim lessons, and recreational classes can now do so thanks to funds raised through Gwinnett Parks Foundation events, partnerships with other groups, companies, and organizations.

Thanks to Gwinnett's business leaders and the Gwinnett Parks foundation, now everyone has an opportunity to experience all the wonderful programs Gwinnett Parks and Recreation has to offer. This fund has helped thousands of Gwinnett county youth and seniors experience summer camps, recreational activities, and sport offerings.
